    L2550 temp gauge always shows Hot

    Did you use teflon tape on sensor? Sometimes it keeps the sensor form ground. Just a thought.

    Finally got around to attempting to try repair hood. Put down not too bad plastic weld. Looks like interstate 81 pave job. Too much smoke,and fumes coming off for me to do fine tune job. Probably take B737 suggestion and get new one. thanks for all the ideas. Tried to upload pictures but didn't...

    Don't remember where I read it , but some glues,JB weld won't stick to the plastic kubota uses. Cleaned it with alcohol, break cleaner, still will not stick. It's something about the oil in the plastic. Also anyone use any of the plastic welders, from Harbor Freight? Thanks

    Is diesel pickup truck synthetic oil proper for our tractors?

    it will be hard to find cj-4 rated oil it was change to ck-4 very little cj-4 left look at walmart for 2.5 gal jugs some chevron delo 400LE full synthetic 5/40 still around

    with gauge plug unhooked probing signal wire back to sending unit i get 11.1 ohms

    when i first check voltage iam thinking i had 9 volts when gauge was reading empty now with it reading full voltage is 0.278 per your last post iam glad it diesel too

    check ground on sending unit is good put 12v to power wire gauge moved to 1/2 tank. 12v to power wire again gauge went to 3/4 12v again gauge reads full. (tank is full) will see what what it does when fuel goes down again thanks
