i have a 9540 that i purchased new in 5/8 it has 2700hrs it also does the same thing

i dont ever lock my tractor when i leave in the field because there is nothing in it worth anything to a thief but the stereo.i hope i have a nice thief and he opens the door and not break the glass to get in,so that way i can still use the a/c that day.

i use a roll of hay so much easier to hookup on my little tractor.(l3650gst)

the tractor now has 2872hrs.i had to replace the a/c compressor clutch in june.no fault of the tractor though,if it had been open station never would have went out.LOL

i always go to the right out of habit because hay equipment is on the right side of the tractor

go and get the bigger bush hog and if its to big you could always tell your wife you need to get a bigger tractor.it didnt work for me but maybe your luck will be better.i am not being a smart alleck,just trying to help another ott member get a new ride.

they dont have a seperate power steering pump.works with the hydraulic system

i would love to see this in action.we had to put 10 98lb suitcase weights on our 9540 to keep the frontend down while loading on the trailer with kuhn gmd700 mower on it .dont know exact weight 1400?maybe not sure.

another thing on the 40series tractors the lower lift arms are short to get more lifting weight.say for instance if they one 1"longer hoe much more lift would that give you on said mower.quite a bit.it would also make it much lighter on the frontend.i know people are going to say add weight...

adjust your lift arms .i am not familiar with the compact tractors,but if it can screwed out it should be on the right side of tractor.it located on the lift arm rod.

it was nearly 400.00$,but well worth it.the only time visibility is a problem is late in the evening just before dark.when it gets dark the visibility is as good as it is in full daylight.the only problem after dark is the glare from the dash lights,but that aint no big deal i just lay my cap or...

the 3pt lift is terrible on the m series.put your lifting rods in the front holes of your lift arms.it will give you more lift.

the air works great in the texas heat,far superior to the old m series.i had all my windows tinted except front glass with what they call limo tint.even before then it still worked great.it has a filter behind the seat that can be washed with soap and water,it gets very dirty.it will catch lint...
