    L3901H Neutral Safety

Thanks, Chim. I'll read through that one as well. By the way, here is the parts diagram showing correct position of the switch and nut on the flange.

    L3901H Neutral Safety

UPDATE: I managed to get the nut moved to the correct side of the flange as indicated on the illustrated parts diagram. The mounting flange is actually thread so once I managed to break it free, I was able to simply unthread the switch and nut at the same time. I've re-adjusted the actuator...

    L3901H Neutral Safety

Thank you! I think we're looking at two different switches. The one on the bottom side of the tractor (brake switch) does indeed have nuts on both sides of the mounting flange and both are easily accessible. This is the Forward/Reverse pedal switch, located behind the metal shield behind the...

    L3901H Neutral Safety

Hello all, My L3901H has been randomly failing to start. I can rock or sometimes sharply tap the HST pedal and it eventually finds a place that makes it happy and I'm off and running again. However, it's time to take care of the issue once and for all. I located the switch easy enough and was...

Kubota L3901 Engine Tick at High RPM

Thanks for the feedback. I'll be making an appointment with my dealer. My L3901 just turned 475 hrs so it's close enough.

Kubota L3901 Engine Tick at High RPM

Is this a normal sound from this engine or is it indicative of a mechanical issue? This happened about a year ago and went away after I changed the oil. After about 75 hours it's back. I'm planning on another oil change soon but was just curious if anyone else has this issue. It seems more...

Leinbach 16" Single Plow on L3901

Hello, I have found a good deal on a Leinbach Line 16" Single Bottom Plow; a good deal IF it would actually fit. Does anyone know if this plow would fit my L3901? I ask because I've heard some of these Category 1 implements, when attached to Kubota tractors, won't raise high enough to clear the...

Need opinions on a box blade.

I would go with one that's at LEAST as wide as the tractor's rear wheel footprint. But it really depends on what you're planning to do with it. Just bear in mind that if your tractor is wider than the blade, you'll be leaving tire tracks in your finished work.

    B7300 3-point arms bent?

I think I see the bend you're referring to on the non-adjustable left lift arm leveling rod. I was trying to find a photo taken at the same angle for comparison...maybe this will be of help...

    PTO Turns Intermittently While Driving

Thanks for the reply, BCrouse. :) Just got off the phone with my dealer's mechanic and he said he had never heard of this issue. But he said he would make a call to tech support. Apparently, they (tech support) offered no definitive answer. The dealer said they have several of them on the lot...

    PTO Turns Intermittently While Driving

I have a new L3901 with only 30 hours on the machine. I would probably have not noticed this problem but my wife was helping me with some work over the weekend and I happened to be walking behind the tractor while she was driving. When the tractor is going down a slight grade or even on level...

L3901 Rear Ag Tire Tread Width

Thanks for the help, guys. Over the weekend, we swapped sides and gained about 7" of tread width. The center to center measurement is now about 51". :) Before and after pictures here for comparison.

L3901 Rear Ag Tire Tread Width

Thanks, BAP. A guy here at work has offered to help me with the project but since I just bought the tractor a couple of weeks ago, I'm hoping the dealer will send someone out to take care of it. I'm kind of puzzled why they would set it to such a narrow width given that it came with a front end...

L3901 Rear Ag Tire Tread Width

Thanks for the reply and photos, Pat. I think I'm understanding this a little better now. It looks like the inner part of the rim is not exactly centered which means the outer part can be configured in one of two different ways depending on which side of the tractor it's attached. Correct me...
