I also have the same tractor, and no matter where the linkage is, when I engage the clutch, it stops the tractor as OP points out his doesn't. Linkage may well be off also, but it does appear, according to his explanation, clutch is not disengaging motor from drive line.

there are better ways to keep a nut from backing out. Lock washer, nyloc nut, double nut, peening the threads slightly, etc. I doubt "breaking of the bolts" is caused by loosening, especially if you are only using 4 of the 6 that are supposed to be used. That is 66% of what was engineered. Also...

I know it has been warned many times on this board, about "cheap" injectors. This almost seems to be, too good to be true. How does one know if they are a suitable replacement?

No cross hatching in the cylinder. 300# seems about right.

I guess I'll never understand why someone would "chisel out" the liners, when they are taking the block into the machine shop to have new liners pressed in. The shop has to set up on each cylinder, and would be little effort to press out the old ones at that time.

Greg owns property next to my hunting property, and has a nice shop with 2 of the lifts in it. His caretaker allows me use of it at any time, so so far, I haven't seen fit to install my own. If he wasn't such a good close neighbor, I certainly would be installing my own.
