Just bought an M4500DT project tractor

That post was 3 1/2 years ago, and he hasn't been on the forum since. Probably not going to get an answer from him.

    Engine Rebuild gone wrong?

It seems to me, many of you didn't read the op. It is a marine application engine that he was rebuilding. Unless I'm missing something, he was already rebuilding it, and secondly, no getting the tractor back in service before spring. If it was me, and I am understanding op's situation, I would...

    Kubota V1702 Ring gear.

My L2850 has a V1702 DI engine. Some skid steers used that engine with the idi system.

BX2755HD gear oil fill plug is seized. 11mm bolt, rusted solid. Used blower I dont think the gear oil was ever serviced

Heat, cherry red if necessary. The case around the plug/vent, as you want expansion there, not the plug itself.

    Inj pump leak questions L2850 / V1702DI

No sealant needed on intake gasket. I ran a compression check on my v1702 di this spring, and replacement intake gasket is quite thick, and seals easy.

Kubota BX23S runs until it sputters and dies

Not sure why anyone would think his posts are spam. Well thought out approach to fixing a problem, with a promise to follow up with results.

    Kubota emulator

At all the many forums I am a member of, and the ones I modded on, OP's responses towards a respected mod here, would quickly get either a time out or a ban. As has been mentioned, one can only imagine how the interaction with the dealer has evolved. I'm not up on the new tractor emission laws...

    BX2200 Cranks but Won't Start

Don't know about other models, but removing line at injector, loosening at injector pump and turning it 180°. Retighten at pump. Of course I had to remove intake manifold but that was simple enough.

I'm getting to the point of not wanting to let anyone use any of my things any more.

Wow, I'm sure glad I have "better" friends than those on here. We, all do for each other. I may have better and more equipment, but they bring skill sets that can make up for it. And most are respectfully and competent with equipment. Then again, in my 70 years, these are the type of people I...

I'm getting to the point of not wanting to let anyone use any of my things any more.

My tractors were made to work, and get dirty. I suppose the first scratch might be bothersome, but I use them and expect if I let someone else borrow them, they will use them. Shiny paint doesn't make them perform better. If they come back broke, then I would expect the user to fix, or at least pay.

Nice work up NIW. Above and beyond to help.

    Tractor stuck in gear

If it is a gear transmission,it may be stuck in 2 gears at once. I'm not sure Kubota's can have this happen. MF, and Fords certainly can, when the linkage gets worn, and the shift forks jump out of their slots.

Repairing a Bent Mower Deck Rim

It takes 4 times the oxygen to use with propane than it does acetylene. I've had the same tank of acetylene for 10 years, so not sure about the cost, as it lasts a long time for my hobbyist work.

Repairing a Bent Mower Deck Rim

Heat is your friend. Preferred is oxy-acetolene, but even a cheap mapp gas with turbo helps greatly if you get the metal glowing.

    L2850 FEL park stands missing

Probably never been out before. Some cleanup with wire brush and paint in it's future? I thought I only needed to remove fel when I split the tractor, but after making the right pieces to do so, the 5 minutes it takes to remove it makes it a handier tractor for other jobs not needing the fel.

    L2850 FEL park stands missing

After building the missing parts, mine came off like it should. Countrylife, as NIW suggests, it must be rusted stuck. You did take the 2 front bolts out I presume.
