I'm looking to rent a trailer mounted post pounder this weekend, to do some fencing on my level yard. The trailer is spec'd to weight almost 3,000lbs. Do you think I'd be able to pull this with the B1700?

Thanks for all of the replies! One last dumb question.... If I used a similar sized cylinder to the loader cylinders (i believe they are 1.5"), wouldn't the operation be the same speed as the loader (if the loader hydraulics were disconnected from the pump)?

Hey everyone. I just brought home a B1700 and can't find an Operator's manual for it anywhere on line. With colder weather coming up, I'm just wondering what Kubota recommends for glow plug cycle time before starting. Anyone with insight on the matter? Thanks in advance!

I think that's why this guy put a VW motor in it. He was saying that it was way too much money to put another Perkins in it. It's just awkward operating a skid steer with the VW motor in it, because you always need to be adjusting the throttle....

I'm looking to get a replacement motor for my Bobcat 825. The motor that is currently in it, is from a Volkswagen Rabbit... Needless to say, it doesn't work the way it should, so I'm on the hunt for something better.

Hi All. I have my first tractor (B7100), and have a dumb question. The way the loader valving is set up, the float function is on the bucket curl stick, and not the lever that controls the lift (or arms) of the loader. Is this the proper setup, or should it be the other way around? I'm thinking...

One more question I have, after looking at the wheel again... Will I also need to unbolt the center hub and turn it around? Seems like if I just flip the wheel around, there won't be much or the collar holding it onto the shaft. Sorry if this is a dumb question, or if it plain just doesn't make...

Not sure on that one.... Looks like I've taken on a few "mysteries" when I bought this machine.... So just to make sure I get it right, I just need to remove the wheels and flip them around and re-install on the axle?
