Hey everyone.
I just brought home a B1700 and can't find an Operator's manual for it anywhere on line.
With colder weather coming up, I'm just wondering what Kubota recommends for glow plug cycle time before starting.
Anyone with insight on the matter?
Thanks in advance!

I have two B7100's - somewhat similar to yours - If in summer - I glow them for 3 clicks of the hour meter..... which is about 15 seconds or so, if I try to lesson this - it tries to start but just blows a lot of smoke, even longer give a better start up. During cooler months I simply do it longer.

You can overglow I guess - but other than battery drain, is simply heats the chamber for better initial starting.

Once the engine is good and hot - it typically is not needed until it cools off.
