    BX2750D Snowblower Fan Shear Bolt

Part 77700-04112 is NOT a shear bolt, but a regular Gr8 bolt to hold the shear plate item to the drive shaft. I would assume it could be a regular Gr8 bolt obtained locally. Item 7, the Gr5 shear bolt (1/4" x 1-1/4") is a standard bolt as well, obtained locally at local hardware stores. The one...

    BX2750D Snowblower Fan Shear Bolt

As a note, on the Canadian Kubota Parts Finder site, it actually lists about 5 different manuals for the BX2750D model! (2 seem to be the same...). Only the serial 21219365 and up has the newer shear plate design.

    BX2750D Snowblower Fan Shear Bolt

Ok, I scanned the manual, but the main pages are the expanded parts of the blower assembly, pages 22 and 23. Not sure if I can upload the manual here, but here are the images of pages 22 and 23. Note that part 31 is the newer shear plate, held in place on the shaft with a standard Gr8 bolt (not...

    BX2750D Snowblower Fan Shear Bolt

I'll try to do a scan of the newer blower manual. It is specific for serial numbers "21219365 and up" (note it is 21 million+ serial, not the usual 2 million series of numbers) Manual part number is 77700-03986, which is different than the old manual 777600-00663. Fan on old bx2750D is part...

    BX2750D Snowblower Fan Shear Bolt

There are 2 models of the BX2750D. Older ones have the grade 8 shear bolt for the fan through the shaft. Newer ones have a flange on the fan and a flange adapter on the shaft with a grade 5 shear bolt. I've had (have) both. The problem with the grade 8 bolt thru the shaft is that it (shaft)...

    Bx2750d snowblower drive chain problems

You say "impeller". Do you mean the fan? The other shear bolts pictured above are for the augers, which I have blown several times with no damage. I use the proper Kubota shear bolts. Now if it is the "fan" part, there are 2 different designs of the BX2750D. Earlier models used a grade 8 bolt...

    LX2963 snowblower issues

Your video shows typical wet snow on a smooth surface being "pushed" by the blower instead of building up enough to get sucked in by the augers and fan. I've had similar with my small 2750D blower. However, this only happens with an inch or two of wet snow. My solution was to go "fast", force...

Transfer Switch for Generator Power in Outages

Very, very dangerous. All it takes is one little mistake at 2am when the power goes out, and you forget to trip the main breaker. If the fault is at the feed point to your house (fuse/breaker on pole), you risk electrocuting the utility worker who shows up the next day. You risk losing...

Transfer Switch for Generator Power in Outages

Consult an electrician first. There are two types of transfer panels, one that switches the neutral, the other does not. Switching neutral is usually for portable generators, which usually have neutral bonded to ground internally (Which is usually the frame). The other transfer switch is for...

    Electric Surge Protectors.

I have a HD whole house surge protector in my main panel. I got a lightning hit (I believe it was on solar panel grounding wire) in 2017 and everything that was plugged into AC outlets survived. What did not was anything that was wired by Ethernet cables. Seems the EMP got into that wiring and...

Can someone help with what to fix

Not sure, but it might suggest that some regeneration is due or previous regeneration has failed (or got interrupted)? Don't ignore it!

    Yup, still here

Back dragging with a front snowblower ?!

Nope, that is why I have a 3pt blade on the back of the BX25. Blower in front, blade for scraping or back blading areas like concrete landings. Also, I have no qualms using the blade at the road edge, pushing anything loose back towards the ditch.

BX2822 fan shear bolt breaks repeatedly under load

Have you made sure the augers are "alternating", not feeding at the same time? If both augers push snow into the fan at the same time, it may "overload" the fan. If there is any loose play on the fan, that hard push of snow may move something so there is some contact somewhere. When changing...

Anybody know this tractor sales girl?

My first thought was "where the rubber meets the road". But then, I though of the phrase "Road to Nirvana". Sigh...
