Nope, that is why I have a 3pt blade on the back of the BX25. Blower in front, blade for scraping or back blading areas like concrete landings. Also, I have no qualms using the blade at the road edge, pushing anything loose back towards the ditch.

Have you made sure the augers are "alternating", not feeding at the same time? If both augers push snow into the fan at the same time, it may "overload" the fan. If there is any loose play on the fan, that hard push of snow may move something so there is some contact somewhere. When changing...
