My guess is that it has to do with clearance. The 1880 is about an inch closer to the ground than the 2380. My guess is that you need that extra inch for the drive over hanger (link). i wonder if you change from the 16 and 24 tires to the 18 and 26 tires if the drive over deck will fit on the...

I’ve seen that info. If you go into Kubota’s online parts catalo, the BX1880 lists the Rck48-18bx and Rck54-23BX as related equipment. The BX1880-1 lists Rck48 and Rck54 but also lists the RCK60B23Bx as related equipment. if the Rck54-23BX is related equipment why wouldn’t the Rck54D-23BX work...

You need the link bars if you don’t have them. i call it the hanger bar and the handle. Both are shown on top left end in the photo below. Connects the front of the deck to the front underside of the tractor.
