    L3800HST First service

My 4600 is 6 months old now but only has 8 hours. My tractor is more of a snow remover, fork lift and toy that lives in a heated shop if it matters. Looking at some of these pictures is making me think I might want to do an early service and I have a few questions. #1) Are those nasty oil...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I bought one of the cheaper ones on EBAY and it was made so poorly that the upper pin would not even go through as a result of the two side plates being miss aligned by so far when it was made. Titan Mfg. was the maker seller. Mine was ran on a no reserve auction like they do occasionally and i...

Built a quick attach front lifting plate this week

I have just used the lifting plate once, but pretty know what I want for now. I think I will leave it bare for a while so it is quick and easy to weld on additional features as my needs tell me what all i will do with it. Buckets and forks are easy with just flipping the levers and drive in and...

Built a quick attach front lifting plate this week

This was the first time I used the lifting plate but I'll tell you I use the po po out of the QT feature with my bucket and forks back and fourth. I move a lot of pallets of heating pellets in the winter and do bucket work in the winter snow. I couldn't live without QT and did not realize how...

Built a quick attach front lifting plate this week

I was originally thinking to make a "T" out of the bottom of the plate and the receiver tube hitch tub but now it is going to mount up higher so I am mulling over the options to make it stand up straight so I can just set it down when I switch to the bucket. I have been just setting it on the QT...

Built a quick attach front lifting plate this week

Ya I had considered that, I had it mocked up on the bench and was about to cut the hole originally and realized I would not be able to see the ball past the plate, so thinking higher up now and being able to tilt it down if needed when hooking. There is plenty of room behind the plate through...

Built a quick attach front lifting plate this week

Yes to both, I already bought a receiver tube for it but decided to do a little lifting yesterday before deciding where to place it. I an thinking higher now so it wont get in the way of another centered lifting ring. I am in the process on building up a DIY 4' cube powder coat oven and this...

Built a quick attach front lifting plate this week

I over bought on tractor a good bit just for the lifting capacity on the front end loader. Having since moved some pallets around and hitting the QT forks load lift limit at 24" out and wanting to dead lift more at times so I made up this lift plate. I snapped this picture today while unloading...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I had been using a combination of grader blade and loader on the drive, today at lunch I used the loader to cut holes through the piles every so often to let the melt get away, it is all down hill that way when it melts or I'll have an ice rink contained in piled snow. I am also making up a QT...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

same here, used the loader to lift and dump piles snow over the hill to make room for more tonight... I just grader blade the drive with the little Deere as it is coming down and deal with the piles later with the loader.

    SUV mounted rear blade????

There is one here in our town that looks like a full size front plow mounted on the rear of a truck and is a puller arrangement with all the needed framework rising up and over and back down behind the blade, even has power angle and lift as I remember. Thought about stopping and checking it out...

Wierd mystery out in my shop !!

I have only re-keyed the shop for now and monitoring the cats water. If I see another occurrence I will follow the trapping advice. Worth noting the cats food was gone and it usually is not but there was a large bag near by in a slop sink that was untouched. I assume they have a keen sense of...

Wierd mystery out in my shop !!

I have it in stock in the garage and I know it works but never tried it. not that big of a deal so far. I re-key'ed the place today just incase but I have convinced myself it was not a person but since I did not know the key history I thought it best. I am getting ready to change some insurance...

    Bell Tec Auger on L4400

I have a L4600 and just 2 weeks ago had my dealer quote me $1300 for dual factory remotes installed, levers would come up through the factory slots. In the case of an auger operation like yours I am not sure I would not rather have a different location for the rear remote control levers since I...
