    B7100 Head Gasket Shim

I agree. The shim is to compensate for milled head or deck.

    L275, D1302-A engine timing problem

My L275 likes a 30 second glow-plug warm-up even in the summer. My newer B2100 is good to go after 15 seconds. I'm curious if there is a difference between the two systems.

    L275, D1302-A engine timing problem

Minor timing changes are made with shims under the injection pump. I rebuilt my L275 back in 2008. After milling the deck, the shims needed to be changed to get it properly timed. The spec is for before TDC of the COMPRESSION stroke. NOT TDC when the intake valve is starting to open. For my...

    B2150 steering

My B2100 had a leak at the top of the steering box. Replacing the seal is fairly easy. Had to remove the upper steering shaft from the tractor. This seal is about 12" below the steering wheel. Are you saying your B2150 is leaking at the steering wheel? .... that would be a different design than...

B2100 power steering (valve) stuck? pulls left.

Fixed. Removed and disassembled the valve assembly from the top of the steering box and found one of the four pistons was stuck in the bore. Honed the bore with some 600 grit, reassembled, and mowed a field. It's working great with full power assist! MUCH nicer to drive now!:D

B2100 power steering (valve) stuck? pulls left.

I gave it another try today.... Put the pressure regulating spring back in at the pump and did some field mowing for 90 min. It wasn't pulling to the left until the end, and it was just barely noticeable then. I still don't have full power assist, only about half? Action is not smooth and...

B2100 power steering (valve) stuck? pulls left.

Steering has full assist to left all the time. To go straight, I have to fight to hold the wheel in position. Turning right takes a lot of effort, as I'm fighting the power assist to the left. Is there an internal valve that is defective? I only see a pressure line going in, and a return line...

    L175 Restore Thread

Great thread Matt! You've got some talent for a younger guy, keep it up! I rebuilt my first engine (a Buick 425) when I was 15, but didn't rebuild a Kubota until 30 years later. I was very impressed with the design, strength and overall build quality of the Kubota engines. It was a good...

    ROPS installation L175 & L225

I installed the ROPS on my L275 a few years ago, It was under $200 with shipping. My garage door opening is 7 ft, and I did have to shorten the ROPS about 4-5" so I could store the tractor in my garage. While it's NOT recommended to modify it, I felt I could cut, add some internal reinforcement...

B2100 - various questions all needing your help!

Hello Rich, I purchased a B2100 just a few months ago to keep my old L275 company! I'll be using it for lighter-duty use such as mowing and errands around my property. The manual states the turf tires should be inflated to 22 psi/150kPa front, and the rears 20 psi/14o kPa. If you are on bumpy...
