We have a 5240 that we can't find the serial number on . I've looked at the normal places you find them, front frame, engine block. Were lost, dealer needs numbers for parts and so far we haven't found it. Anyone have any ideals where we might find it?

Just thinking out loud, did you check your hydro filter for damage? I was using a small tractor and had the same symptoms your describing. The hydro filter was damaged from running over some brush and was restricting the flow.

Will be interesting to see what the problem was. Glad their taking care of it.

Just because it's new doesn't always mean it 100% ready to go. Thats why I have said to do the full inspection when you first get your new rig "like the 50 hour inspection". Thought I would mention I made the mistake of thinking the hydro was low when it was full past the top of the sight glass...

Your local dealer can install the 3rd function valve for the grapple. I got mine through EA and installed it myself. Do a search and you will find info and videos on how it works and how it's installed.

Awesome set up! EA does some quality work, I may get a grader scraper from them.

Congrats, your gonna like that grapple. I have the 55 inch single lid. You'll be surprised at the things you'll find to use it for, I just used it to set a 8 x6 dock over the pond.

Got my 2501 in Bedford, after shopping around they matched the best price I had. They were also the closest dealer to me.

Got my 2501 a couple months ago, 112 hours so far and no problems.

Thats what I used, loosened the filter then turned the vac on and quickly swapped filters.
