    Homemade potatoe planter

Good day. Are you referring to the type with a hopper or something simpler? I currently use a tiller, then a create a furrow, then plant by hand, then hill with a bedder. All except the planting I do with an implement. (I dig with the potato plow) If simply wanting to speed up the planting...

    Truck / trailer questions

I heard that. 👍 My regular use case is 4 hr one way to our place up North. A couple years back, i had a tire blow out at 75 mph in 6 lane traffic and construction and really had my hands full. I am not sure I was lucky or good but I’ll take lucky. Luckily no one hurt.

You know I do… (I own property in both zones so have a pretty long season…it won’t help my odds based on past history though 😂)

    Hunting and game posts

Well I’m here to tell you that that little fella tried to attack me…I thought I was a goner for sure. Then I remembered what I learned watching Crocodile Dundee, gave it the ‘I love you’ hand sign and he settled right down and I was able to get him to smile for the camera😉. (In all honesty, I...

    Truck / trailer questions

This is not meant to start a holy war between brands, but here is a helpful guide from Ford. Maybe it helps? I’d start with the basic math of GVCWR (scroll to slide 46 in link below). Not all 1/2 tons or 3/4 tones have same towing capabilities so buying beware of the actual capabilities of what...

    Truck / trailer questions

Good day. It’s just my opinion, but with just your tractor and its toys, without the trailer, you are sort of pretty close to the weight where 3/4 ton starts to make sense. Bigger brakes, stiffer suspension, etc that will handle the payload better. I think if you are going very far on the...

    BX2380 quick hitch

Good day and welcome to the site. When you say ‘what rear quick hitch’…are you referring to brand/model or category of hitch? Sort of all depends on which attachments you plan to use with it. Do you know what size pins on your implements? In terms of brands/models…Well they are all certainly...

    We let him be…if they won’t score in B&C we don’t bother with them😉. (That’s a joke)

    Decision Overload

I think more than reasonable to find a pretty clean one for under 30k if patient. If hours and born on date don’t matter so much under 25k seems possible. IMO a construction TLB is a bit more capability (machine weight and lift) than the standard machine.
