Need Rotary Cutter Buying Advice for LX2610

You and I must be separated siblings. I have a Frontier RC2048 and am about to buy a RCR1548 for my LX2610. The Frontier was a buddy's who needs it back. I considered the Woods BB48.20 (too expensive) and the Everything Attachments (too long of a wait) but found an ok deal on a used RCR1548

    LX2610 HST pedal zerk?

Based on what I read in the owner's manual, the ROPS do not have a grease fitting on the HST while the factory cab units do have a grease fitting.

    Plugs

I kept putting it off and off. Would just pump up the tire each time I used the tractor. After about 4 hours of working, the pressure dropped enough to roll the tire off of the rim. I took the wheel to my Kubota dealer Sat morning. They took about 10 mins to replace the valve and plug the hole...

    Plugs

Found a nail in my LX2610 R4 front tire. Does anyone know if these tires, R4s, can use plugs?

    Frontier Grooming Mower

It may be able to drive it as long as the grass is not moist or high. The three point may be abel to lift it, but, it may exceed the recommended weight for the BX.

5’ brush hog ok on LX2610?

I have been running a rusty green Frontier 48" on my LX2610. It has never bogged down and does not feel too heavy. Am very glad I did not go for a 60" cutter. Wider and longer would make maneuvering around my land so much harder.

LX2610/3310 owners w/ large tire option implements lowering question

I do have a LX2610 with the large tires. I do have problems putting my weight box, box blade and chipper down far enough. I do not have problems with my rotary cutter. I plan to move to the the other holes in the near future as I am getting a 48" finish mower this week.

    BESTCO VLWCX 5" Chipper

I found the best two ways to jam our chipper. To jam the output, put in green pine tree branches with lots of needles. To jam the input, put in small logs with medium side branches.

    BESTCO VLWCX 5" Chipper

I see one more difference based on the photo. Our more expensive version does not come with the built in stand. The cheaper one does. That makes me sad, without one I cannot put mine down the whole way without risking bending the PTO shaft. I may try to make one out of the shipping cage.

    BESTCO VLWCX 5" Chipper

What convinced you, like me, to get the premium VL-WCX5, versus the standard, FH-WCX52? I chatted up one of their reps asking for the differences. They responded with what seemed like scripted marketing copy about how it were just higher quality components and parts without specifics on what...

    Betstco Wood Chipper, VL-WCX5

Should have searched threads before posting. I thought I was the only VL-WCX5 owner here.

    Betstco Wood Chipper, VL-WCX5

Needed a wood chipper to help clear 5 HA of loblolly pines trees. Considered Titan and multiple Woodmax models. Lots of the ones I wanted got sold out before I saved up the cash. Turns out the Betstco 5” Self Feeding Wood Chipper n/VL-WCX5 was in stock and matched most of my needs. I would...

Looking at ordering a LX2610, Questions on Options

I suggest getting the 60" bucket. I did with my LX2610 and it works great. I got R4s even through I wanted R14. Based on what I have learned first hand and read about R14s, I would like to change to full R1's, but I am a weirdo.
