Granted, I'm a wee bit smaller, but the LP root rake grapple works well for the items you've mentioned. Most clam shell type grapples will. The LP is pretty light and I abuse the heck out of mine, but it's held up pretty good. A few bends here and there... :-P I originally used it to help clear...

Valve rarely goes bad. Possible restriction at the connection fittings.

Not been on the little B for almost a month! :( Buddy had 3 tandem loads of top soil delivered and needed it spread around his new garage. So, loaded her up today and tried out my new tractor puller! Went from a 1/2 ton Hemi to 3/4 ton Cummins. Pulls like a dream! The little B did just fine...
