    Assisted suicide?

Suicide doesn't end the pain it just passes it on to someone else. My brother took his life on Jan. 1, 2018 and he definitely passed the pain on to those who loved him.

1980 Kubota B7100, gear noise in 3rd and reverse

I believe 2nd gear is used with reverse as well, if I remember correctly. It is common for those gears to to be worn more and create more gear noise, as 2nd gear seems to be the most common gear that is used. I think that same gear may have something to do with PTO use as well. 3rd gear is not a...

    One of them days

Some days it seems like it is better to just shut the garage door, turn around and head back into the house..lol. It is just not worth the frustration.

1978 B7100D hour meter reading question

I have a 1977, B7100. When I got it several years back, the hour meter read 2700 hours. Only after I ran it a bit, did I realize the hour meter did not work. I would be surprised if the hour meter on that tractor is still working. That might explain why those digits are so faded. They have been...

    Cool PTO spline cover

Great idea. I use a piece of that grey pipe insulation and slide it over the splines on mine. A couple of wraps with electrical tape helps it stay tight, plus keeps it from splitting down the seam over time.

Why are Kioti tractors so much cheaper ... and only six weeks out?

All I know is my 1977, B7100 has been one rock solid tractor. Just like any vehicle out there, it is easy to get 100K on the ticker, but when you start getting above that, that is where the quality of a well built vehicle starts to shine.

Skeets, so sorry for your loss.

kubota b7000 - scratch when changing gears

What I find helps reduce or eliminate the grinding gear issue, is to idle the tractor down a bit before shifting.

B7100 with B219 FEL...slop at the lower bucket to arm mount

I need to bring the tractor back from my hunting land to my cottage in a few weeks to clean it up and install a lightbar on the ROPS. I will take the bucket off at that time and work out a plan to address the egged out holes at the lower connection point. I have a welder and a drill, so I will...

B7100 with B219 FEL...slop at the lower bucket to arm mount

While doing my normal spring maintenance, I am starting to notice quite a bit of play where the FEL arm is pinned to the lower part of the bucket. I can see the the holes are getting egged out. I have never had the bucket off, so I am not sure what is actually down there, if it is a bushing, or...

    cattle cubes in transmission :(

I am not familiar with this vehicle, but can you leave the lid open around it? Mice normally won't take up residence unless they feel safe. I had issues with them getting under the hood on my tractor and also into the built in tool box. I know leave the hood propped open a few inches, along with...

    Kubota B6100 B7100 Parts

I'm looking to eventually replace my drag link, as one joint has a little play in it. I see you have one laying across the rear tires. Is there any play in the joints? If not, I would be interested in it? Thanks!!

    Added Tie Down Points

Nice job! I need to bring my tractor back to the house this spring for my ROPS light install. Maybe I should add these tie downs right away as well. Seems like a pretty easy install.

    Weight of A B219 FEL?

Tractor weight comes up as 1,080 lbs. I have the same set up. I don't know where I found it or heard it from, but I was told weight with FEL is around 1,500 lbs. That leaves the B219 loader around 400 lbs.

    Buck wheat

Most people use buckwheat as a green manure....a soil builder, including myself. I have been planting it in WI, for my food plots for several years now. It is easy to establish, grows fast and provides great cover and weed suppression. It attracts pollinators like crazy, when it is flowering.
