    Engine oil question.

My L35 and Ford both call for 10w30, which is pretty limited here in diesel oil. I've used mostly 15w40 T6 in both lately. But I did put 5w40 T6 in the Kubota once and could tell it cranked noticeably faster. I saw 10w30 T6 for the first time at Walmart the other day and was on the verge of...

    F3680 Wheel Spin

I sometimes have that issue on the 2WD Ford when brush cutting, especially when I'm in a hurry and/or the ground is very dry. Adding front weights helped, but I drag a little steering brake on the side I'm steering toward for the best effect. For your F3680, I would check: 1. Does your machine...

Reviving An Old Acquaintance Buried In The Pole Barn

Agri Supply has some low-cost quick-connect replacement yokes. You'd have to make sure you get the right size to fit your cross.

Looking for a Kubota L39 TLB

Unless you're wanting more capacity, you can add SSQA and third function to your L35. I think SSQA was standard on the L39, but not third function. I was surprised to see the loader capacity on the 39 is almost 50% higher than the 35.

    PTO wood chipper

There are walk-behind brush cutters available. However, you may be able to do what you want by backing a rotary cutter in. That's what we often do to get in areas with tall/large brush.

    Advice on Tractor Shed/Garage Design

Since you have the slab already, do a full-size mock-up with your tractor and equipment. Use wood blocks to simulate the door jams and drive the tractor in and out with attachments. Make sure you plan on adequate door height. Probably at least 10' clear with your 3902.

    B7800 leaking cylinder.

No. Bucket cylinders <> Boom cylinders. Did you DIY?

You're never too old for your first tractor .... even if it's an L47TLB!

Pretty sure that's just the thumb kit. Then there are 2 or 3 kits for the valve section, foot pedal control and hoses.

    Difference in fuel stop solenoids

There is a Kubota tractor model B2320 which uses a D1005 engine. It may or may not be like yours. There is a WorkShop Manual available at KubotaBooks. You can see parts diagrams on KubotaUSA if you're in the US. It seems to be an entergize to stop system with a 2-wire solenoid controlled by a...

    Difference in fuel stop solenoids

If I interpret your post #3 correctly, you just replaced the timer with your manual switch (momentary close, I assume). This works as long as you don't leave power on longer than necessary. If you want to keep this setup you'll need to use the older solenoid. My tractor, which uses a D1703...

    Difference in fuel stop solenoids

Can you install the old solenoid on the new engine? If you can attach some pictures it might help. As you've discovered, the same model engine can have different systems. BTW, many of the tractors with the energize to shutoff system, like my L35, have a manual knob and cable to kill the engine...

    Difference in fuel stop solenoids

There are two coils to avoid overheating the solenoid. Pulling in the armature requires several times the current as just holding it in. If the pull-in coil is continuously powered, it would burn out.
