As TheOldHokie said, the drawing is minimal. The slot is 2" wide, so a 1-1/4 pin would give + or - 3/8" on engagement. My implements all have a wider slot, I think, or I'm a better driver than I thought 🙂.
With a new tractor, follow the owners manual to avoid any warranty hassle, as well as to maintain it. The front axle probably has SUDT2 from the factory. I use ~80w gear oil in my old L35 to slow the drips and there's no need for the special properties of the UDT. There are several areas...
Do I understand that your 1630 has self-levelling? If so, how is it accomplished? My TL720 has it, it's really more of an anti-backdump, but it uses links along the boom to actually move the joystick curl as the boom is raised above a certain level. I don't see any links on your loader.
I don't know about that, but solenoids on some of the newer models have two coils and an internal switch that disconnects the pull-in coil, when the plunger moves.
Do they die off in winter like yellow jackets? The only one I've seen in the wild was just high enough to clear the rear tire on our MF when I was a teenager. I still have a vivid slo-mo clip in my feeble memory.
This camera shot reminded me Katy's bonnet needed some attention.
So, I took it off, sanded it a little, primed it and painted. My sister (with a little assistance from Katy) helped me get it back on the FOP yesterday evening, so I just have to put the bolts back in and reattach the lights.
Yes. If the hoses are both capped, you have two closed systems, there's no room on either end for fluid to expand and the rod can't move. But if you couple them together, they share the total fluid space which can expand when the rod extends.
Another use, my sister got tired of fooling with it, so she abandoned it. When it died and dried, it made autumn decorations, like corn stalks but the pods turned a pretty greyish color.
It has external cylinders, but it wouldn't lift at all if the lines were crossed. I haven't thought this out, but check that the feedback and draft control linkages are correct.
