Can I "float" the front mount snowblower?

Calm yourself! I still needed to order my tractor and can't have snow without a blower!

    Snow blowers SB vs BLMX

I'm getting quotes on an L2501 with a 64" blower. One place is quoting an SB1064, and another the BLMX3164. The BLMX is working out a little cheaper. Anyone know what the differences are?

    B2650 MMM and BH

So when you take the 3pt arms off, do you have to take the MMM off, or can you leave it in place and still use the backhoe? If you can leave the MMM in place, I assume it would just be stuck in the highest position?

    B2650 MMM and BH

Anyone here have a B2650 with a MMM and backhoe? It looks like the lifting mechanism for the MMM attaches to the 3pt arms. So when you want to use the BH, do you have to remove the MMM plus some type of lifting connection with the 3pt arms?

    What tractor do I need?

I***8217;m in a similar boat. 8 acre horse farm, 2 of it pastures, another 2 lawn and nice paddocks, 3 or so woods. I***8217;m thinking L2501. It saves me a couple grand, the hydraulic implements will do the same, and 19pto hp is probably enough for my bushhogging and long paved driveway for...

    B3350 Latest

Will the LX be between the B2650 and the L2501/3301, or does it just add features to the L2501/3301 to make it more comfortable like the B2650?

    L2501 Weighted Tires

If I'm using the FEL, I'll probably have the BH on at the same time. If just the FEL, maybe moving some very light loads of manure, but not dirt or gravel or anything without something on the back. If I move snow, I'll have the blower on the 3pt. My driveway is long but level.

    Rear PTO Snowblower

So I got a price of more than $3k for the rear PTO snowblower, I think a 61 or 64" land pride. I see some online with decent reviews for $1500, but maybe that is too cheap? Anyone have another brand they are happy with? I'd rather save a bunch of money if I can, doesn't have to be matching...

    L2501 Weighted Tires

I'm thinking if I am doing FEL work, I'll most likely have the BH on as well, so that should take care of the ballast issue. If I take the BH off for something like arena dragging, that implement is so light I could have the FEL on or off and it wouldn't matter. So it sounds like I don't need...

    BH77 on L2501

That's exactly what I'm thinking. Those bolts I think go right into the axle, wear them out with lots of 3pt removal/installation, get crud in there that wears the threads, and you'd have to do some surgery to make it right, or at least need helicoils or something if you could even get a drill...

    BH77 on L2501

Sorry, I mean using the 3 point arms. Those have the big pins that have a bolt holding them in. The BH ones just slide in.

    L2501 Weighted Tires

Looking at an L2501 for a small horse farm. I'll be using it for manure management, a little bit of woods work, fence work, snow blowing, dragging a horse arena, and bush hogging a 2 acre field, all very flat. Do I need to get the rear tires filled? Would the extra weight be a con on nicer...

    BH77 on L2501

I'm considering an L2501 with a BH77. The pins for the bottom arms look to be held in by bolts, the others all have quick pins to remove the other arms and links. Are those bolt holes going to stand up to a lot of removal and installation, or should I plug them and machine some type of quick...

    B2650 Bagger for Leaves

Want to get rid of the leaves as much as I can as they are not good for the horses to eat. Some eat them and have no issues, but if we are boarding want to watch out for the others. I think the plan now is a good lawn tractor and a lawn sweeper. $300 bucks, much bigger than a rear bagger...

    B2650 Bagger for Leaves

I'm looking at the following. I am only interested in using a bagger for leaves in the fall. Otherwise I would just mulch or let the clippings lie. 1) B2650 with 60" MMM and bagger 2) B2650 and use the saving to buy a dedicated lawn tractor and bag 3) L2501 and also get a dedicated lawn...
