    B6000 Hydraulics.

I'm fairly new to hydraulics, but I don't believe so. This is an old 70s model tractor. I don't have any remotes or anything like that, just a lever that lifts the arms on the back and 2 spools on the front that control up/down/left/right of blade. I don't have to flip any controls to run the...

    B6000 Hydraulics.

So I got the old Kubota out today and after started, let it run for about 20 minutes to get the hydraulic moving. Used it yesterday and bout 2 hours this afternoon to plow snow. Near the end of of use the blade wouldn't lift/turn anymore and neither would the rear lift. I didn't find any leaks...

Yep it does spin backward. Still, the rest of it's a workhorse. Plowed with it last year.

Kubota B6000E Question about front axle

Looking in my service manual and it specs .5l front axle case oil and front wheel gear case .2l. with SAE80. Which is also what it says for the transmission. I see zerts at the case, but isn't this specing oil? If so where do I put it in? Getting this ol battle tank back up in shape. Put a...

    Kubota b6000E

Hello I've got a B6000E tractor and I'm trying to find info regarding the hydraulic capacity (fluid). Going through this thing after mostly sitting for a few years, but I'm not finding much in the manual or online about the hydraulic capacity. It seems I remember that on this model the...

    B6000 hydraulic leak

Yes, I marked all the hoses and controls before I Took them off. I got a little carried away cleaning the control valve and oops.. the marks were gone.

    B6000 hydraulic leak

Yep Messick's and Colman's have both been very helpful with parts. I got it figured out I think. I had the two larger hoses reversed on the control. That took care of the leak (I think. I'll know for sure once I check/fill the fluid and test again, but it's certainly not bogging the engine...

    B6000 hydraulic leak

OK folks, I got the new seals and it fixed part of the problem. No leaks when it's running or if I raise lower blade or turn it side to side. However if I happen to hit the end of the piston (left/right or top out) the engine bogs down and it dumps fluid out the connection I just put the seals...

    B6000 hydraulic leak

Got it apart. Think the leak is caused in part because there was no o-ring/washer between the pump and the banjo fitting. Going to clean all those surfaces and head to auto parts store.

    B6000 hydraulic leak

    yes the front end.

    B6000 hydraulic leak

what I can't make out is if there's a way to check the other side of the banjo connection that's against the pump. The only way I could see to do that would be to remove the 4 bolts in the block, but that introduces more leak potential. lol. Think I'm getting ahead of myself though. I'll get...

    B6000 hydraulic leak

Thanks, I'd never heard anything but rubber called o-rings before. And that video is good to know. I'm actually just messing with the one on the pump now. I was confused by the picture in the manual at first.
