    Bush hog vs flail

Debating a 4ft hog vs a 54” woodmaxx flail. I have 5 acres with about an acre of grass that needs to be cut semi regularly, and 4 Acres of brush that needs cutting before fire season i have a mmm, but the groundnis rocky and uneven and i end up hitting rocks when i use it even on the lawn-ish...

    How mad should I be?

See as someone new to tractors and new to working on them myself this seems like the basic level of service that is acceptable, especially when paying retail. It may seem crazy, but I'm paying for them to assemble the tractor, and I expect it to be done right.

    How mad should I be?

Yup. Those bolts are part of what's makes the ROPS safe.

    How mad should I be?

The whole point of the thread is they didn't do it right. And they didn't do it right now (I'm the op). Why on earth should I not be compensated for the time I wasted fixing an improperly assembled new product. I am paying the dealership to put the tractor together. That is part of what they...

    How mad should I be?

As someone who works for our national public health care system I can't imagine what it's like to have health insurance tied to your job.

    How mad should I be?

I couldn't argee more. Reading this forum it seems that folks here tend to accept that assembly etc will be done half-assed. Given they also work on Kubotas construction equipment I wouldn't be surprised if they make heavy equipment mechanic wages.

    How mad should I be?

Thanks! This has def helped me take a breath (I was ready to let the Karen out Monday). I too am a better cook than mechanic. This site is pretty awesome (and why I have a 2301 vs a bx23s). I actually considered stepping up to an lx but they're just too big for my needs.

    How mad should I be?

Haha, I realized the steering wheel moves. It was just perfectly backwards for a little while.

    How mad should I be?

Hahaha. I think what I'm hearing is suck it up, life happens, which I hear. I am going to talk to the boss though as I want someone with experience to go over the machine. I know enough to do maintenance, but checking to make sure they put it all together correctly is outside of my skillset, and...

    How mad should I be?

Thanks everyone. Since posting I've also noticed the steering wheel is on backwards (unimportant, but seriously, was the guy who put it together drunk?), and the quick connect for the loader continues to leak. I called the main location for my dealership (I bought at a satelite location) and the...

    How mad should I be?

Good perspective, I think my wanting the extended warranty comes from 2 separate components being improperly installed on my new equipment. I just don't trust that there isn't a third, does that make sense? As to some free accessory, the pain in my ass has a financial value. The hours of my time...

    How mad should I be?

Having calmed down a bit, I think I'm going to say I want someone to go through the machine carefully, torque all the bolts etc, an extended warranty at no cost, and a free tooth bar for the head ache (something I was thinking of buying). That or a refund and I'll drive the 11 hours.

    How mad should I be?

I just got a new b2301 with an la435, pallet forks, mmm, box blade and a blower. I didn't get an amazing deal at everyone's buying right now. When I went to pick it up, the quick detach for the loader wasn't adjusted. It took them an hour and a half to successfully get it to drop the legs, and...
