So I have been hard at work for over a month

And it's finished! First time out of the garage since April 3. Got a couple little adjustments to touch up but nothing to keep me from using it. But so happy to have it back. Now I gotta clean up my main garage.

So I have been hard at work for over a month

Further progress. Tomorrow mower deck will go on and be realigned and height calibrated. Mower is fully greased, gear lube changed in the gear box, all grease fittings hit under the tractor and all body panels and seat bolted up. Now I am finally ready for a shower :D

So I have been hard at work for over a month

Yep all new paint job. I figured the Herculiner should hold up fine since it's only me getting on the machine with rubber soled shoes anyway. And hell it's made to line truck beds. I'm certainly not gonna beat it up that bad

To Grease or Not to Grease

OK a little moly on the splines of the coupler. I hit the coupler itself with a little of the gun oil in the photo. I will leave that be. I greased it all last year and this year it was packed with filth. And yes I know to grease the fitting. I was just asking about the coupler mechanism itself...

To Grease or Not to Grease

That is the question. I am curious about the coupler that hooks up the mower deck drive to the PTO drive under the tractor. Last year I took that whole thing apart, cleaned it and greased it with moly grease. This year when I took it apart it was packed with dirt and other "nasties". So my...

So I have been hard at work for over a month

Daughter put the new vinyl decals on the hood for me. I'll post later. I bought OEM ones but not the ones for this model. But these look AWFULLY good and she did a great job. I have some aftermarket emblems I will install as well once I decide a final place. That are black background, with...

So I have been hard at work for over a month

I've been hard at work over a month now on my G2160. Haven't been able to work steadily on it due to baby sitting duties at times for my little 14 mos old grand daughter but lots of work. Pulled body work, did some minor repairs to it, repainted upper/lower hood, rear fender pan. Rolled on...

    GR2000 won't back up.

Apparently it's not the hydro. I would be looking at something crossed up in the safety system. I pulled all that crap outta mine

    Indicator bulbs

Don't care about energy. Just hoping to have the indicator lights easier to see in daylight. Last year I almost ran it out of fuel because I could not see the low fuel indicator winking at me. And the glow plug light when outside is hard to see. I bought these AmazonSmile: TORYOR 194 LED Light...

    Indicator bulbs

So has anyone tried replacing the indicator bulbs (little 194 bayonet type) in the cluster for low fuel, glow plugs, etc with LED? I just ordered a bag of them. My hope is they're a little brighter and easier to see in daylight.

    Wheel Color or Covers?

After doing a lot of refinishing work on my G2160 I am thinking my wheels look a little "shabby". Wondering if anyone knows what the color is of the wheels (definitely not white but some type of very pale beige), or I ahve seen some with some polished "baby moons". I might go for that instead.
