    F-2400 clutch not disengaging.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU With the clutch pedal fully depressed, at mid throttle, it took 3 or 4 hard stabs on the forward pedal (it is a hydrostatic transmission) & low and behold it broke free. I don't understand how a pressure plate can stick to the disk???

    F-2400 clutch not disengaging.

Last year it was working fine. I just took it out of storage, I cannot engage the mower deck. With the clutch petal fully depressed the gears grind. I adjusted the free play to one inch or less. I backed off the over travel bolt. It won't allow the PTO to be shifted. Please help. Thanks Laddie

    F-2400 ELECTRICAL PROBLEM

There is no fusible link near the engine only connectors which have continuity. The 15 amp fuse while not blown has no power on either side. There must be either an open fusible link or a break in the wire going from the starter to the 15 amp fuse. I will try to open the harness or run a new...

    F-2400 ELECTRICAL PROBLEM

I have owned the F-2400 one month. These are the symptoms, not charging, oil/temp lights dark, engine will not stop with key. While running, the battery is at 12.3 volts, alternator output is 15.5 volts. Fuses in main fuse block OK. I just called a local Kubota service center & they said it was...

    RC72-F20(F2400) (FRONT MOUNT MOWER 72")

Here's a tip on changing gearbox oil. I loosened both the drain & fill plugs. I used 3 one inside the other plastic grocery bags. Slipped them under the drain plug & gear housing while holding them tight removed both plugs & ALL the oil went into the bags, 0 mess. I don't know how you do it but...

    F-2400 larger tires

I had the new front tires 26 x 12 - 12 mounted. I read in the manual the rims are reversible, I added 1 1/2" spacers. Now the front tires are at least 9" wider stance than original. The backs are 6" wider. I also installed a Sun 210-f Lev-o-gage Inclinometer.

Wheel spacers for BX (older and newer models)

Thank you I installed them on my F-2400 & reversed the wheels, much, much better. I can't find 4 lug spacers for the rear wheels (I measure 4" or 100mm & 69mm bore hole)

    F-2400 larger tires

I ordered 24x12x12, glad they are lost. I now ordered 26"x12"-12". The new rear tires are 2 inches taller, so the front tires need to be 3" taller. I drove a short distance with 23" front & 18" rear, it broke up the gravel. It is a mismatch.

    F-2400 steering slop

I am waiting on parts to fix the slop. I made a temp bushing out of aluminum and most of the slop is gone. I installed a new seat. I also took the dents out of the sheet metal. Replaced the gauge wheels and the mower blades.

    F-2400 steering slop

I jacked the front end about 8" put wood under tires, put 2x4 under deck. I made 3 - 7/8" ID x 1 1/8" OD bushings/sleeves on my Reed Prentice lathe. 24 1/2" blades were hitting the deck. So I trimmed 1/4" off the diameter on my Bridgeport milling machine. Now it works like a charm.
