If it is a simple bend, with no other damage, you can straighten the rod. If it has already damaged the seal & packing at the cylinder, you will have to disassemble it, but there is still a chance that it can be trued up... :)KennyV

You are indeed actually lost, if you think the difference between the two tractors you are "comparing" is HP... There is a LOT of difference... The 2002 L4610 with 220 hrs is WAY out front of L2800. BUT if you need someone to point out all the differences, you are not looking... :)KennyV

The bendix has a very few cogs compared to the flywheel, so if there is any bad damage it will be mainly on the bendix. You might pull it and look how bad it is... comes off easy, not that hard to replace. Don't worry about the debris left behind killing the clutch, unless you have teeth...
