If it is a simple bend, with no other damage, you can straighten the rod. If it has already damaged the seal & packing at the cylinder, you will have to disassemble it, but there is still a chance that it can be trued up... :)KennyV

You are indeed actually lost, if you think the difference between the two tractors you are "comparing" is HP... There is a LOT of difference... The 2002 L4610 with 220 hrs is WAY out front of L2800. BUT if you need someone to point out all the differences, you are not looking... :)KennyV

The bendix has a very few cogs compared to the flywheel, so if there is any bad damage it will be mainly on the bendix. You might pull it and look how bad it is... comes off easy, not that hard to replace. Don't worry about the debris left behind killing the clutch, unless you have teeth...

Yes BUT the cables have 2 ends... Check both ends of each cable... Cable to terminal attachments can and do go bad internally, You will not necessarily see this... If the negative cable where it attaches to the frame is suspect, that will cause your exact problem... :)KennyV

Sounds like you have a bad connection at one of the ends of the battery cables... Remove them and clean them up, and the spots that they connect... Should work after that. :)KennyV

Hey Piker... I don't think he is running another hydraulic cylinder to lift the blade ... It looks like he has coupled a lift rod on the mid mower lift, thats why you can see the 3pt arms lifting when he lifts the front blade. That system would work well, and uses the blade weight to bring it...
