I priced them and decided to make my own. About $90 all in with paint and heavy duty zip ties (I don't know how to weld). Not beautiful but works well. Paint is a good match, more or less.

I forgot I also had a Grand L cab for a few months until I almost rolled it on our hilly ground. Sold it and have the wheels as far out as they will go on the MX with Rimguard ballast. I plow with our Ranger Northstar, so basically the tractor is never out in the cold unless I'm using the loader...

MX6000. Started with a B7100 in 1993; added an L4300DT in 2001. Sold the B7100 in 2011 when we went from two properties to one and traded the L4300DT (still almost like new with 420 hours) on the MX in 2022. Pic is trade day. I was very happy with the old L but the MX is better in many ways...

Add me to the list if it fits an MX 6000. I've used the diff lock once but it was tough for me to engage it without looking down (which I did not want to do at the time). Definitely looks professional.

I'm not sure I understand where the paper clip goes? Do you insert it without removing that plug? A pic would be great if you have one. As far as setting the parking brake, the tractor keeps running as long as it isn't moving without setting the brake. Thanks.

I can't see the ends of my pallet forks when seated on the tractor and, after scratching the concrete pad the other day, I really need to be able to stand and move the machine forward and back. I have looked around fairly carefully but can't find any seat pics online that look exactly like my...

I bought SS zip ties but ended up using HD black plastic ones thinking it would be less likely to damage the paint on the brush guard arms. My guess is they'll hols up fine but if not, cheap to replace.

There's a good deal of space between the guard and hood. I'll keep an eye on the temp and adjust as (and if) needed. It runs fairly cool at all times so far.

Tractor went to dealer to move R14 two piece wheels to "widest" position (#4 in manual; they arrived in position #3). That gained about 5" of track width. Tractor in barn and I haven't measured but total width outer tread to outer tread of R14s at position #4 I guess around 76-80" I can measure...

I was surprised how comfortable it was compared to pre-ballast. I was brush hogging in some really rough stuff and never got a "jolt" in my back. I was sure I would be adding the air ride suspension seat next but I did 4 straight hours and felt no discomfort at all. Of course, I wasn't moving...
