Yes, in 10 years we will be getting great use out of these machines and they will still be worth 7-8k. Only 50% depreciation over a decade feels pretty good (a lot better than a car that is nearly obsolete in that time.)

haha, A few times I have actually found myself wishing I had a gravel driveway to take care of for more justification of the tools I need. Has anyone used the piranha straight bar? It says for shoveling snow and grading and it also extends the bucket another 4-5 inches...

500-700 sqft. Right now I have both on order but wondered if I was being redundant with the ripping up the sod part getting both, and don't have experience yet to know how difficult it is to level with the FEL bucket. Sounds like it is hard to do.

Wanting to rip out some weeds and sod and level the ground, Can this be done with a piranha tooth bar and the piranha straight bar on my FEL? Or would a box blade work better? Thanks.

Cool. Makes me feel better. I also ordered a piranha tooth bar and straight bar. Tooth bar for tearing up some brush and saplings (instead of a brush hog) and the straight bar for helping the snow removal, grading dirt and protecting the bucket.

I signed for the 1880, not here yet. buying a 15k tractor is very hard. I could have gotten by with a regular old lawn mower and a snowblower, but i would have still spent 6k on the two and not gotten to do any of the larger projects. I hope I don't regret shelling out 250 a month for the next...

Tough decision to buy the newest model BX1880 or the older model BX2370. I can buy either one new with only a $500 difference in price. Should I go with the newer BX1880 which I *think* will have enough power or the older moddel version but still new BX2370 (100 pounds heavier and 4 more HP). I...
