I was dumb. Now Kubota wants me to 'pay for it'.

Ironically, the tires on the deck are made by "Cheng Shin Tire". https://photos.app.goo.gl/nsrf9pvtgnxqrMmYA Does Kubota even make tires? Though since I bought the tractor used, I have no idea what the history is. And obviously the tire wasn't responsible for what happened. But the...

I found the cotter pin that was securing the pin on the front wheel. It was clipped to the deer fence that I mowed up against not 10 minutes prior to the wheel falling off and enjoying a game of pinball under the deck.

I guess maybe re-read what I wrote. I said I raise the deck to get more weight on the front wheels; not because of 'entry/exit' angles. Tough crowd. Guess I'll just keep to myself.

I did go through them. The closest fit I could find was https://www.princessauto.com/en/8-x-2-1-2-in-solid-rubber-wheel-assembly/product/PA0008139644 but I'll have to change the mounting bolt/axle. For $215 savings, it's certainly worth the effort.

    Yup. that's on Today's list.

I think you misunderstand the point of my post. Yeah, I screwed up (by not checking my pins were secure I guess) and fully intended to have to pay for replacement parts. A non-Kubota replacement online seems to be in-stock and ships from the US for $44.00 but I figured I'll buy local because...

I was dumb. Now Kubota wants me to 'pay for it'.

My GF1800 is only 2WD. A small patch of my yard is a steep-ish hill so I can only mow in the downhill direction. When going back uphill, I raise the deck to get more weight on the drive tires. Yesterday, one of the front casters on my RC60 fell off as I raised the deck and then gleefully...

GC54 grass catcher on GF1800 with RC60 deck.

    yeah. And a supply of dust-masks. :)

GC54 grass catcher on GF1800 with RC60 deck.

One of my biggest regrets is getting the 2WD GF1800 instead of the 4WD. So when both bags are full, the front wheels have almost no traction. Given that my land has a slight slope, it's difficult to get back up the hill. That's another reason I'm in no hurry to be putting three bags back there...

GC54 grass catcher on GF1800 with RC60 deck.

I normally just mulch my clippings but the spring cleanup and fall cleanup still involved a lot of raking that I wanted nothing to do with. I had kept an old MTD riding mower around only because it had a grass-catcher however, it finally died after serving me well for 12 years. Anyway, on the...

    LA364 hose replacement.

My hose protection slid and allowed 2 of the hoses to rub along the inside of the FEL arm. Now one of them is weeping so I want to replace both. I can just get the local hose shop to make me up a couple without paying through the nose at the local dealer but I want to be sure I use the correct...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

well ok. So I was clearing some space for a pole shed that I'm building. I cut down a tree which didn't fall entirely in the direction I had planned so it fell between two trees. I was using the chain on the bucket and 4WD with front tires turned to the other side so as to pull the tree out...

Today I discovered that my B2920 has a center PTO. Who knew?

Pallet forks and prototype ballast "box"

Hopefully these pictures show you what you're looking for. If not, let me know and I can take some more specifically with what you need. The material is primarily 2x2"x.25" square tubing and 1"x.25" angle. One thing I wish I'd done differently is to put the missing piece for fork-removal at...

    DIY quick attach bracket

When I looked at the various ssqa hitches, I felt they were at least 100 lbs or more and I didn't want too sacrifice that much loader capacity. Not to mention I'd have to hack up my bucket.
