BX2360 front tire tubes, mower belt, front weights

I just completed changing a tube on a front tire on my L2350. I paid $20 bucks for a new tube and it took an hour and a half to get it stuffed in the tire, using a crow bar and screw drivers. The old tube came out much faster than the new one went in. Based on the other tires $35 cost for...

Help me - broken PTO shaft

It's hard to say, but looking at the picture the only thing I see broken is the plastic shielding. The PTO shaft is likely okay. Just needs to be put back together, if it is pulled completely apart. Shielding is inexpensive and easily replaced. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.;)

    Tiller PTO

So I have an old Shubara tiller I am trying to hookup to my Kubota L2350DT. I have converted the hitch to a 3 point style hitch, but still lack the PTO shaft. The old PTO is way to short, and I have had no luck finding a 1"-13 spline PTO drive shaft to fit the tiller output shaft. My latest...

    L2350DT Ran Hot - Quit

No Wolfman, I do not have a radiator net. There are screens on the front grill and on the side engine covers, but the screens are about 1/8" openings and they just keep out big pieces of trash. This chaff is small, almost dust like. I took a picture, but I can't get my phone to download to...

    L2350DT Ran Hot - Quit

Not to beat a dead horse...but...I did some more bush hogging after work tonite and after about 30 minutes the temperature started creeping up above 200. So at about 220 I headed for the garage to check out chaff build up. Sure enough it was covering at least 25% or more of the radiator. So I...

    Salvage PTO Drive Shaft?

Okay...I will get and try the acetone and ATF tonite. Perhaps a little heat on the outer shaft would help some also. It sounds like this effort may be worthwhile. I just didn't want to continue a hopeless cause. Thanks for the tips.:)

    Salvage PTO Drive Shaft?

I have an old drive shaft that is froze up to the point that I am having to drive it apart with a sledge hammer. I have driven it out a little over half way and still have about 9" to go. Is there any hope of getting this thing cleaned up and serviceable? I am concerned about the inside of...

    L2350DT Ran Hot - Quit

Last night after work I changed the oil, checked over the gauge installation, and checked the fan belt. I then bush hogged for about an hour and the hottest it got was about 190. So I guess cleaning the fins and the fluid changes made the difference. I may go ahead and pull the battery to be...

    L2350DT Ran Hot - Quit

I spent the evening installing a temperature gauge. The antifreeze looked very clean and it was not low, so nothing really boiled out. After I completed the gauge install and charged back up with coolant, I let it idle for 15 or 20 minutes and it settled out around 190 F. I'm going to go by...

    L2350DT Ran Hot - Quit

I blew through it both ways. It's a little hard to see through it, as the engine is on one side and the battery is on the other. I do see air and dust exiting the opposite side of the radiator as I blew through it. It sounds like I need to keep drilling until I find something wrong...

    L2350DT Ran Hot - Quit

Well, it wasn't low before I started, and I saw nothing coming out anywhere, but I will check the level tomorrow. I also want to check to see if that is a plug in the head where I can install a temperature sensor. Thanks.

    L2350DT Ran Hot - Quit

So I was bush hogging yesterday and after about 45 minutes it appeared to be getting too hot. I have no temperature gage, but it seemed a lot of heat was coming back to the drivers seat. I was going to quit and let it rest as soon as I got closer to the house, but it slowed and died first. I...

    Help with Dead L2350DT

Just a quick followup on my dead L2350. I went through all of the electrical stuff and all I found was a couple of skinned wires in the #2 wiring harness, and they proved not to be the problem. It turned out that the battery ground cable was not making good contact at the connection to the...

    Help with Dead L2350DT

I had to go out of town for a couple of days, but before I did I determined there is a short in the #2wiring harness. Wires attached to a 20 amp fuse burned (should be 10 amp). Safety switch and Voltage reg tests good. So when I get home I will put back together and see. The load tester...
