I need some help here! Metalworking people.

Beautiful Case Hardening. I leather wrapped my blued Large Loop and ordered a set of Fancy Stocks for my H001TLP

    Do I really need ?

^^^^^ Agreed. Love all my Honda stuff, but for the inverter generator went with the Yamaha. It has been absolutely flawless for the last 10 yrs.

    Stabil wins, hands down.

I've seen the video before. I use SeaFoam to keep things clean (injectors, etc) on my engines. I never have anything sitting around (without use) for year or more. So no issues with starting or running.

Is this a shear pin on my PTO shaft?

As mentioned above that is a 'Roll Pin'. Finish mowers don't really need a shear pin or clutch arrangement. The blades are belt driven so IF you hit something immoveable the belt will simply slip. Belt tension is via a spring and tensioner pulley.

    Fake Kubotas

Exactly. I'm certainly not making excuses for anyone. Kubota made every attempt to make sure the brand name is prominently displayed. On my own tractor, you can't miss it. Example:

    Fake Kubotas

I think the misspelling is in large part due to the mispronunciation of the name. Kubota (Koo-Bow-Tuh) would be correct. But many folks pronounce it (Kuh-Bow-Tuh) and go on to spell it phonetically 'Kabota'. I live in rural Deep East Texas, so I am used to hearing all kinds of 'butchered'...

What type and size of rock/other for this wet hillside?

^^^^^^ Hmmmm......you know that might just work. Thank You.

What type and size of rock/other for this wet hillside?

Respectfully, I disagree. But....I will be the first to come back here and admit I was wrong (if I am). Of course it will be awhile before we know. It will take some traffic and time to see how much the bricks settle. But I will post pics as things develop. Thank you for your advice. Flint

What type and size of rock/other for this wet hillside?

There is a little of room to the left of the path that drops off pretty steeply and is actually the 'end' of the horseshoe shaped hillside. But not really any room to manuver a tractor and the entire area is trees and tree roots. Otherwise, I see what you are proposing and it would channel...

What type and size of rock/other for this wet hillside?

At the crossing itself....the goal is simply to create a 'hard bottom'. It matters not that silt will top the bricks (to some degree) as water flows over it. I expect there to be water and some silt/mud flowing over the crossing. That is not the area I am concerned with. The path leading down...

What type and size of rock/other for this wet hillside?

Put a little more brick in the 'crossing' area (larger brick) and will now start putting in the smaller 'filler' bricks. As soon as I feel it will support the tractor I am going to drive over it and see how much of it get pressed into the mud bottom of the spring branch. I'm confident I can...

    Missing u-joint Zerk

If no marking on the PTO probably metric. So go down to your nearest Harbor Freight, buy their metric zerk variety pack and it will probably have the right one in it (thread pitch and style). Some are straight some are angled for better accesss.
