    Backhoe ?

Only regret I have is not buying one. I never realized how much use I would have for one until I started using my tractor without one. Hope to add one to it someday down the road.

    Water Softener

I replaced my water softener about 3 years ago and here are a couple things I learned. If your well water is very hard, many of the box store brands while they say they do, have difficulty removing very high levels of iron. If your levels are very high, most recommend a dual resin tank set...

    Rain gear / bug clothing

I have the Carhartt Shoreline Bibs and coat. I bought it a little bigger so I can layer if I choose to. That stuff is the best I have found. Really rugged stuff to work in. The worst I used to for was doing concrete cutting. It was breathable and kept me dry in pouring rain for 5 hours of work.

    Plumbing Vent Question

This is a question for the plumbers in the group. I am looking to add a basement bathroom with a sump pit. With how close the fixtures are to the pit and the fact that the pit is vented, do I need to vent near the lav? If so would an air admittance valve work under the sink to accomplish this...

    Finish mower vs zero turn

Depends on if you want to get it done in a timely fashion or have all day to get it done. If I were you, I'd get a 72" ZTR hands down. I have a 60" and get my 3 acres of grass done in just over an hour and 15 mins.

New to forum and question on B2650

I have a B2650 which I love and hasn't let me down; however, if I had to do it again, I would get the L3901 and wouldn't look back. This is mostly for weight and stability. Bigger tires to fill, larger frame for more ground engaging weight for moving rock and dirt moving. More HP to better...

Best Money Spent on a Shop Item?

I'd have to say my ever growing collecting of DeWalt 20v tools. Use them all the time while it's a simple tool, I don't know where I would be without my impact drivers.

    B2650 Snow Removal

I'm right across the river from you with a B2650 as well. I have a 450' driveway with a good hill as well, so it sounds like we are pretty similar in situations. I first tried the bucket and back blade method. The back blade worked well for the 1-3 inch stuff and ice; but for me, anything...

mowing vs landscaping tractors. Do I need 2 tractors?

I was originally in the same position you were in, trying to make a good purchase for my property. I purchased a B2650 with the idea that I was going to get the mid-mount mower as soon as mowing season hit. As of now, 2 years later, I did not buy the mid mount mower, but instead I bought a 60"...

    Noise canceling headphones ?

2nd the 3M Work tunes with bluetooth. I use them all the time on my tractor, zero turn and when using my wood splitter.

    3-Point Log Splitter

I would agree with above. I use my bucket to move the logs and what I split around. I forever had to borrow a unit from someone and just purchased one of my own just a short while ago I got a woods HLS27. I got mine from Messick's. They can also ship it to you as well. Here is the link for...

B series: Mid PTO for a Mid Mount Mower and/or for front mount PTO options (Snow Blower). More Narrow than the L Less Weight = easier on the yard More Deluxe Features = Better Seat, controls Backhoe seat is integrated (Main seat rotates like the BX) L series: More Heavy for Loader work Wider =...

    Weed Wacker recommendation????

I would agree with the Echo PAS system. Get the PAS-280 power head; it is the biggest one (and more $$), but it is rated to run all the attachments that Echo offers for the system. I have one and it has been bullet proof. My brother in-law uses two for his landscaping business and has had...
