L185 Oil Light comes at low and high rpm

After obtaining an oil pressure tester I don't believe my problem is the cam plug. My oil pressure is consistently between 60 and 70 psi. Cold, warm, hot, low rpm, high rpm. My next thought is the oil pressure sensor is going wonky, so I've ordered a new one. At least I can cut grass in the time...

L185 Oil Light comes at low and high rpm

First off, thank you for the link. That is sounding like the problem I'm having. I'm going to pull it in to the garage and start exploring. Secondly, to the answer the other questions; I don't know how many hours are on this tractor. I bought it eight years ago. The hour meter wasn't working...

L185 Oil Light comes at low and high rpm

i've got a L185 with an oil light that comes on at low and high rpm. Oil level is good on dipstick. It sounds okay. I don't want to tax the engine if I've got a problem forming. Any thoughts on what I should do next to figure out what's going on? Thanks

    L185F Hi / Lo Selector

I cannot say for certain why that caused the lever to be immovable. My guess is that because the brake was always slightly engaged it kept some tension on the drive train between the axle and transmission (between which lies the shifter fork. If I understand the manuals correctly)? Our tractors...

    WTB L-322 Snowblower parts

Might anyone out there have the crank handle that turns the chute, and mounting bracket (that holds said handle) off a L-322 Kubota front mount snowblower? If not I'll have to try my hands at fabricating something. It appears Kubota has discontinued support for this unit. Thanks for reading.

    L185F Hi / Lo Selector

I discovered what was preventing the Hi/Lo shifter from moving. The right-side footrest was bent downward slightly, putting slight pressure on the right brake pedal. It was deflecting the pedal by less than an eighth of an inch and I only noticed because i released the plate that joins the left...

    Kubota L175

You can select a vehicle profile (including tractors) on Napa's website, which will return a list of all the parts they stock for that vehicle. The following link is for a Kubota L175C - 1977 model year. I do not know what year your tractor is, so I guessed. You can create your own profile if...

Here is a picture of the stud in question. http://i.imgur.com/WICFT.jpg

    L185F Hi / Lo Selector

No worries. It was only two bolts, three nuts and was pretty easy to pop off and replace. The rear hydro cover has much more to it and i want to have a replacement gasket in hand before attempting it. I will remove the handle and try to see if it isn't just stuck though. As for the hydro...

    Rear Fender Stud/Bolt - L185F

I will take some photos tonight and upload tomorrow. Apogee's suggestion sounds like one that I would be able to perform.

    Rear Fender Stud/Bolt - L185F

Good afternoon, On my L185F one of the bolts/studs that you secure the rear fender to is snapped off. It appears this stud is welded to the rear axle case. Is the best option for repair to simply grind off the old and weld on a new one? Is there an easier/better/newer option for replacing one of...

    L185F Hi / Lo Selector

Alrighty, I removed the cover in question and did not see the shift fork assembly, after consulting the WSM it appears that assembly is located below the hydraulic lift speed adjuster. I didn't remove that cover since I did not have a replacement gasket for it. The Hi/Lo selector mystery will...

    Hydraulic / Trans oil L185F

Good morning, Is any "universal" hydraulic oil okay to use? There is sparse information available that I can find and I know next to nothing about hydraulic systems. I watched Vic's video about hydro/gear oils and would use the Walmart TDH he recommends, but I couldn't find it at my nearest...

    L185F Hi / Lo Selector

I will try both methods. I'll squirt some penetrating oil in there tonight and check it tomorrow for movement. If that doesn't work, I already have Sunday cleared with the wife for servicing the tractor and will get in there and hopefully resolve the issue. Thank you again for the advice. I will...

Is the rear trans cover you are referring to shown as #15 in that view?
