What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

It's amazing how many N tractors are still in use after all these years. I see them all the time.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Thanks! Before I bought this tractor I was running a '39 Ford 9N so I was very old school. I was happy to discover that Kubota makes an L2501F that is essentially a modern day N series Ford because it's all I really need for my property. Just a basic, no frills 2WD tractor. I even run a 3 point...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I moved a 500 gallon propane tank with the boom pole. The tank was empty.

I don't think I've ever made that shot in my life, it's definitely the hardest whether it's rabbits or ducks.

I've noticed that already. The one thing I love about hunting with dogs is it's always fun. Even the days when you get skunked. Watching how hard they work motivates me to practice shooting more. I hate it when I miss and they don't get to make a retrieve.

Awesome dogs / Crazy pets Thread

These are the first dogs I've trained for hunting too so I've made a lot of mistakes. Thankfully they are labs which are one of the most forgiving breeds to train. When I picked Harvey as a puppy I unknowing picked an alpha so he is very headstrong too. He has a lot of his own ideas about things...

Thanks! It's definitely a lot of training. They can both do triple marked retrieves pretty well. It's always a challenge training them for blind retrieves. We have to constantly work at it. Those NS duck tollers are very unique, you don't see too many. I would love to see one in action someday...

    R14 Tires - LX2610 - Snow Chain Recommendations

I run diamond pattern studded chains on my L2501 with R1's on an asphalt driveway and after one season have yet to see any damage to the asphalt. Before that I ran V-bars on a 9N for years with no issues. You can't beat studded chains. I think the lawyers probably make them write that the...

Why is KTAC Insurance So Expensive

Yes it's good coverage and yes it's expensive. Kubota doesn't give you that coverage for your benefit, they give you that coverage for their benefit to cover their asset (you don't own the tractor until after you make the last payment) all while making you pay to cover their asset. It's a huge...

Photo shoot anything lately? Random Photo Thread

A few pics from last Sunday, hiking in New Hampshire. The trails still had 2 to 3 feet of snow but once I got above treeline it was all melted from the sun.

Why is KTAC Insurance So Expensive

Excellent summary. Kubota expanded their business a while back to also become an insurance company. The 0% financing makes people think they're getting a deal even though it now forces them into buying their KTAC insurance where the real money is made. That's why I mentioned earlier in the...

Why is KTAC Insurance So Expensive

Understood but you're paying many thousands of dollars for that coverage which negates the so called "deal" of 0% financing.

Why is KTAC Insurance So Expensive

I did the same thing. KTAC insurance and "doc fees" added thousands of dollars to the cost if I financed it so I paid cash. There's a reason they push 0% financing and KTAC insurance, it's certainly not for our benefit. It's a huge money maker for them.

    Kubota Insurance

I paid cash for my L2501 and opted not to get KTAC.
