I have removed it, cannot see anything that could prevent it from splitting.

I have managed to pry the casings loose from each other but it only moves a little bit. Feels like there is something preventing it from coming apart, I just cant find what it is. I cannot get hold of the previous owner unfortunately.

I have a Kubota L39 that I need to split the Mid case (Fig C401 in the parts list) from the gearbox I have removed all the bolts and nuts around the mid case but its still not splitting. Any advice on how to proceed? The previous owner removed the 4x4 drive and I want to replace it.
