Here's how I chain down my BX25 now...using carpet so I don't damage anything.

I was using 3" ratchet straps as of lately but was getting the feeling it wasn't going to hold it down sometimes. Now I use 2 chains, front and back, roughly 10-12 ft in length each with ratchet load binders. After getting used to it I like it better than the straps and its faster to strap down...

Anyone got some tips or advice on how to prevent mud sticking inside the backhoe bucket while trenching? I have BX25D with 12" bucket. It gets sickening trying to get the gumbo out or I have to have a helper use a shovel to get it out. Thanks
