Yes, the case numbers were the most obvious. Just sucks as I found a good used trans but it was out of a 2350.

It appears that there is a bearing and an extra support rib on the case extention for the axle housing.

The reason I thought they were similar is because the parts that attach to the case itself are the same parts that go into the 80 series trans. Is it different physically and not swap in? I see that your a Kubota tech so I very much value your opinion. Thanks.

I would not run that engine anymore until you figure out where the Diesel is coming from. Diesel doesn't not have the proper lubricating properties for your engine and you may damage it further requiring an engine rebuild. But you are on the right thinking of where the Diesel would be coming...
