I always lower my RPMs, clutch in, engage PTO, gently let off the clutch, watching to make sure PTO is rotating correctly and implement is moving correctly. Before I fully release the clutch and then increase RPM.

I noticed a small leak, just a few drops occasionally a few weeks ago. Then had my loader bucket up last night holding up a piece of equipment being serviced. I realized I had a sizeable leak coming down from the bottom of the controls where the hoses attach. Took pressure off and waiting for...
