Titan Attachments 57" Ditch/Bank Flail Mower failure.

This will be my last post on this topic. I did contact TA to tell them what happened and showed them pictures. I received a message back stating that my warranty claim was denied because we had to do a field repair, and my warranty is now voided. I will not buy or recommend TA for products...

Titan Attachments 57" Ditch/Bank Flail Mower failure.

Ouch, those are expensive for a disposable blade. I was not happy about $56 for 5 from TA. lol Let me know how your rod idea works. I have a CNC mill. I was thinking about creating a design I could make my own. In my spare time...

Titan Attachments 57" Ditch/Bank Flail Mower failure.

Other issues that have popped up with the Titan Attachments ditch/bank flail mower are: 1. the rubber skirt on the back is too thin for the type of work we do. Almost completely ripped off now. I ordered some thicker reinforced rubber material from McMaster-Carr that I will install during the...

Titan Attachments 57" Ditch/Bank Flail Mower failure.

So far, so good with about 50+hours. The repair still looks solid. Now my issue is finding hammers to replace the ones that are as blunt as my fat fingers. LOL On backorder at Titan Attachments/palletforks.com.

Titan Attachments 57" Ditch/Bank Flail Mower failure.

It just came apart. We use it on rough terrain, so it gets bounced quite a bit. Compared to other brands, it is a bit of a poor design at that point. Since the repair, it has been working without incident - so far. Now that I just jinxed myself... :)

Flow valve for rear remotes - flail mower

How did your flow restrictors work out? Are you having any issues maintaining positions on the flail mower? I keep having to momentarily press the switches to tweak the position the flail back to where I want it. I was warned that the valves' bleeding are an issue with the Summit electric spools.

Titan Attachments 57" Ditch/Bank Flail Mower failure.

After approximately 100 hours of use, our flail mower had a significant failure. We were in the field, so we had to hire a welder to repair it. Hopefully, it will last a couple hundred more hours now.

Summit Hydraulics 3 spool rear remote installation on LX2610HSDC cab tractor.

Hi Dan, My head was inserted into a place void of solar emissions. :) This was the correct part: 90 Degree Elbow, 3/8" JIC Male x SAE/ORB #10 Male Summit has them. As well as Stuart Hose & Pipe, Amazon, and others. Still learning all the different types of fittings, adapters, and...

Summit Hydraulics 3 spool rear remote installation on LX2610HSDC cab tractor.

It is a 6801-06-08 Male JIC to Male BOSS ORB 90degree for a Kubota LX2610HSDC, which I believe is the same for several other models. turns out I thought I had a 3/8" to 1/2" 90 but it was actually a 3/8" to 3/8". The Summit Hydraulic kit is installed on the back of the tractor and operates the...

Summit Hydraulics 3 spool rear remote installation on LX2610HSDC cab tractor.

Does anyone know the thread type (SAE, BSPP, other) and size for the Power Beyond port banjo bolt on the LX2610HSDC? It appears to be a different size than previous engines, like on the B2601 shown in "MJA doing stuff" YouTube videos. It measures 18.8MM/.740" O.D. and is a straight or parallel...

    Rear remotes for LX2610 cab

I understand your point and totally agree. However, it is a big deal if you have contract deadlines to meet. Short term solution may just have to be manually adjusting the flail, but that is going to be a PITA.

    Rear remotes for LX2610 cab

I am getting ready to do the Summit Hydraulics kit as well. Only because my dealer told me the kit for the LX2610HDSC cab tractor is 5-6 months out, maybe. I don't want pay for something now, tie up that much money, and not know when I'll get the kit from Kubota. I am installing a Titan...
