The complete cylinder is more than $200.00 plus shipping. I can't remember when, but I recall some writeup where earlier model cylinders had a manufacturing defect of scratches or scoring in the cylinder causing premature wear of the seals. Sorry I couldn't find the article it was a long time...

Well aware electrical conn are course threads, since we are guessing as to the thread size I can only suggest something like EBAY or hardware & get a tap of the size you need & thread something to fit (washers, chunk of metal drilled & tapped). searched thru some old boat anchor electronics...

As was said in previous post, spline is keyed, will only fit one way.

My BX24 runs a little on the hot side when mowing in hot weather, not in the red but close. Just be sure that nothing is clogging the radiator, etc.

OK i found a doc for you, the original instructions for step stay kit. The part you are looking for is 1/4in flat steel plate 1-1/2in wide & 5-1/2in long. Two holes & a piece of steel sticking out about 3/4 from one end, doesn't do much just sits on a ledge. Doubt if it's needed. Photos...

That is the most ridiculous thing ever. It is nothing more than a plate that holds parts 030 & 040 to the frame. Understand at my age it's rather difficult for me to crawl under the tractor to get dimensions. However my son is coming over this weekend & I'll see what we can find. But...

I'll try to get pics, but the fender bottom bolts to the edge of the floor board hole & the bracket bolts to a different hole about 4in in front of the fender edge hole.
