New to tractor powered blowers. i have a new B2750 with a front mounted B2782B snowblower. The auger works at times, then stops when it hits heavy snow. Presently the left side is working and the right side is not. When not in use, I can turn the augers freely by hand. I suspect I have to replace the shear bolts. The shear bolt holes in the auger shaft seem to be recessed. Does anyone have an illustration or youtube link for replacing the shear pins ? Thanks for any direction.

This is an old post! Wonder why nobody answered you . . . but for sure you've figured it out by now (grin).

In any case, with the grade 5 bolts sheared, the augers should turn freely - grease them through the zerk fitting if they don't.

Use a small drift pin or light and mirror to find the sheared off bolt, then tap it clear with the drift. Replace with only a grade 5 bolt. The auger shear bolt is special, having a groove cut in the shank (I bought some suitable bolts and cut the grooves on my metal lathe - I'm cheap).
