Where do you put motor oil in on the L35?
A. Plug 090 on valve cover, but you'll have to remove the hood (and sides, I think)

or B, plug 360 on the left (driver's) side of the gear case. Easier, but you'll need a fairly long, maybe flexible, spout funnel

Welcome aboard! I'm not familiar with the L35. Many engines have a cap that says "OIL" when viewed from one side of the tractor or "710" when viewed from the other side :)

There’s a plug on the left side right by the dipstick. Pulls out, does not have threads. Kinda gotta use a flexible or bent funnel to get in there or the oil makes a mess.

Looks like this but probably does not say oil on it

Thanks. My daughter and son in law borrowed my machine, and they're an hour away. He checked the oil and noticed it was a lil low. I thought the cap said oil on it, but it doesnt. I tried to describe it to my SIL, but didn't wnat to take a chance putting oil where it didn't belong.
