Hello all. Looking for some ideas.
I have an older M9540 (2007) with two rear remote valves.
The tractor is mated to a 12 ft. batwing mower that uses one of the remotes.
The other remote is idle.
When I lift the mower height or the wings, the bottom (probably factory) valve leaks fluid through a weep hole.
It doesn't matter what set of remotes the implement is attached to, the leak is always from the bottom valve.
The newer replacement valve from Kubota does not have a weep hole and so far I've been unable to secure a diagram of the older model valve which I believe to be part # 3C081-82540?
I spoke with my local dealer and they want me to bring the machine in for testing.
A new valve from Kubota is near $1900.
Questions:
Did anyone have this issue and resolve It? How?
Does anyone have a diagram for the old valve ?
Is there a source other than Kubota for the valve?
Can I remove the leaking valve and move the other remote to it's position?
Thanks in advance.

Its unlikely you will find another source for the valve.

Based on your description it sounds like the external seal on the bottom spool is leaking. That would be a simple and inexpensive repair.

You can swap the positions but that wont fix the leak.

Are the cylinders on the mower single or double acting?

Thanks for your response. I'm not 100% positive but I think they are double acting cylinders. The mower is a Land Pride 2512 batwing.
I'm only using one set of remotes.
Can I remove the leaking set of remotes from the tractor and just use the non leaking set?
The Kubota guy told me I'd need a different set of studs to attach the valve as he suspects the leaking valve to be original and the functioning valve to be an add on.
Can you point me to a diagram of the " external seal on the bottom spool ".
Thanks again

"I'm only using one set of remotes."

How can you use one valve to control two different sets of cylinders? That is extremely suspicous.

Are the couplers leaking or the valve? I cant see a leak in your picture.

New studs are ZERO problem but iI suspect its simply a matter of time until the "good" valve develops a leak.

Here is the parts breakdown of your valve. Item #40 is one seal. I did not take the time to look for others.

I downloaded the 2512 manual and I see how the the cylibders are plumbed. . They are single acting and plumbed in opposed directions so disregard my previous comment

Thanks again Dan.
Now I know that I have single action cylinders.
Item 150 in your valve diagram is the area where the leak is occurring.
If you enlarge the picture I posted you can see a weep hole in the middle of part 150.
The diagram you provided is for the new / replacement valve 3C081-82542.
The new part doesn't have a weep hole.

I dont put any significance in the "weep" hole and I doubt there is any material difference in the valves.

The oil is coming past seal #40 inside the housing. Plug the weep hole and/or replace the seal.
