B9200 3-pt controls don't work after hydraulic oil change

I've recently aquired a Kubota B9200HST-DP and after changing the hydraulic fluid with acceptable oil, the 3-pt hydraulics no longer works. It did prior to the oil change. The tractor drives fine and the bucket works with no issues. The supply line to the 3-pt control valve gets warm but the return line does not. The 3-pt hitch moves up and down with no resistance. I have let it idle several times for at least 10 mins, most recently to remove the bucket for service. I have tried operating the 3-pt valve lever 15-20 times to see if that would purge any air with no luck.

Today I disassembled and cleaned the 3-pt valve and found no parts stuck or badly marred, no orings broken (but will probably go back in sometime in the future and replace them all.

Any idea how to troubleshoot this further? Appreciate any help,

You jumped the gun disassembling the valve.

Your loader is not supplying carry over pressure to the 3pt. Something wrong at the hydraulic outlet block up front. Start by makeing sure you have not swapped the PB and tank connections.

Your loader is not supplying carry over pressure to the 3pt. Something wrong at the hydraulic outlet block up front. Start by makeing sure you have not swapped the PB and tank connections.

Thanks for getting back to me, Dan. I have not had any of the lines to the outlet block disconnected but I did remove the loaded for servicing. Do I need to do anything with the lines disconnected from the loaded?

Thanks for getting back to me, Dan. Can you clarify "PB and tank connections"? Not sure what that means, Appreciate it. - C
Your loader valve has 3 hoses going to the tractors hydraulic block - see diagram below. The neutral port is PB and tank is tank. If those two hoses are accidentaly swapped the loader will continue to work fine but your 3pt will become inoperative.

In the OP, "acceptable oil" is listed as the replacement. Was this oil the recommended Kubota Hydraulic Oil, such as SUDT2? This may be what was meant but I'm just checking all the boxes.

In terms of this problem it would not matter if he used baby oil....

OK, good to know. There have been quite a few posts comparing hydraulic oils, etc. Since this is a new member and possibly someone new to Kubota, I thought it possible that if the wrong oil was used, it could have made a difference. Wrong once again. :) I am batting 1.000!

From what I've come to understand Kubota engineered their hydraulic oils to handle fringe cases like extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme moisture, etc., and any damage from using "the wrong fluid" would be over time and not immediate. Dealers seem to often sell "the good stuff" at or below competitor pricing as if Kubota wants their products to have long lives. At least in my case the above held true, others situations have differed.

Do you have an operator’s manual to see how that works? @TheOldHokie may be able to post that diagram.

I doubt that is your current problem but just wanted you to know that it is there. If it gets turned accidentally it will cause problems also.

The loader is working so its not the problem..

Learned something... When the loader is disconnected, I must loop the supply line to the loader to the return port to supply the PB implements. Go figure. I have the B9200HST-DP WSM and this is not discussed. Found an Operator Manual online and I have yet to find anything that references this. Should I be doing something else? Once I get done servicing the front end, I'll put the loader back on and all should be fine.

Read in the manual about the use of directional valve, or just do what you are currently doing.

Added on edit- that sounds harsh and I didn’t mean it that way. Sorry to sound rude.

You dont havd to loop them together. When you disconnect the loader turn the selector valve on the outlet block counter clockwise. When the loader is reconnected turn it clockwise.
