Well, we all know how that fight went
I'm not that old, and I remember when it was 10w30 or 10w40. That was it.Pretty soon the argument will be the regular electrons in my battery are just as good as the synthetic electrons that are in your battery. The cost difference between regular oil and synthetic oil is so small. I have been using Castrol Synthetic for about 30 years in all my engines. What pisses me off is all the different grades I have to stock.
That thin chit is OK in the winter but your need a grade 50 or 60 in the heat of summer. If you're not using SAE 30 straight grade in your tractor then it's days are numbered.
(tee hee!)
