Sincere thanks to all who responded, particularly those who have direct experience with the unit. Had very little time to use it this weekend but did get it set up and removed one particularly irksome stump on its test run. It’s exactly what I expected and needed at a price point that justifies purchase rather than repeated renting or hiring out.

Wish I had some stumps that needed removal, I'd be ordering one of those for sure!

Must say that most, if not all, of the Woodland Mills Owner's Group seem to agree on one thing: the machines rock! (y)

Do it! If you have stumps and want them gone, this thing is awesome.
Killing me also - I am already mentally sold on it, and have a massive amount of need, but have to wait for the budget to catch up.... Nice to know they were able to ship right away or maybe you just got lucky!

I didn't know that there was a owners group. I just received a WC46C last week. So far it is great, been thinking about the stump grinder. Thanks.

May have been some luck involved. They guaranteed shipment within two weeks of my payment clearing. Being I’m in NC dealing with a Canadian company I paid with a Visa credit card, which cleared near instantly, and they shipped the day payment cleared. Shipping within two weeks is still pretty quick in today’s environment, but order to delivery of four days is a bit much to expect as routine.

I'm in the same boat. I'm still recovering from my grapple purchase and it still won't ship for another month or so.

I've had mine for a couple of years now. One of its main benefits doesn't require you to have your own stumps to remove. Many a fine home cooked meal has been had for a few minutes work at a neighbor's yard!!! With ice cold adult beverages to boot!!

This system is used a lot overseas, and it's clearly superior to our fast moving cutting wheels. But.... I'm pretty sure it's not going to work on a 25 or 35 horse machine.....

Stumpex or similar may be a good option for some. At 7gpm and a loader that would likely twist up like a pretzel in a white oak stump, not exactly compatible with my little CUT.

That price tag is a wee bit more than my little WG24. About 10x the cost.

I ordered a box of Woodland Mill's Stump Begone on the 11th and I picked it up at the freight terminal in the early AM on the 19th (yesterday). A scant 8 days payment to delivery - EA should be so good. Just unboxing it I was immediatley impressed by the quality of the thing. Had my first operating lesson this morning and I am very, very, very happy. It eats like a starved beaver including several softball size rocks and easily goes well below grade. The only downside is it is hard to get a good view of the cutting area but after a few minutes paractice I learned where the action is and how to control the height to get smooth cutting. Its imperative you keep the cutting action on the up side of flywheel rotation. When you don't the ride gets real bumpy and cutting slows down.... An L3901 handles it with no problem - it might be a bit of a load on a BX or small B.

Congratulations! Glad you like it. I’ve been so tied up on other stuff I’ve only been able to attack one with mine. Looking forward to getting back out to landscaping and tree removal projects like a kid waiting for Christmas now that I have a stump solution.

There are a couple YouTube videos of the grinder on a BX. It seems to work fine on the stumps they tackled. I just tackled a much larger one Friday - maybe 30" across at the cut and easily 6' root circle. The main portionwent easy but the root system really worked the L3901 over. I was going to post some pictures but my phone fell out of my pocket and the grinder ate it
