Trying to do a three point lateral adjustment without removing the implement. Too much tension right adjustment arm will not budge.

Had the same tension on the three point blade, had a tip to place 2x4 under blade to remove pressure. Tried that with tiller, no soap.

Do I need to disconnect tiller or is there a tip that will help

thanks folks

Can you post a pic? Have you loosened both turnbuckles?
only have one adjustment on right side. Yes I can post pic, but right side 1 inch at least higher than left side, Looked yesterday and maybe answer is to level lift arms with tiller off then attach, Right side turnbuckle wont budge unless weight off

Right side turnbuckle wont budge unless weight off

is why you'll need to disconnect the right lift arm ,adjust down an inch, then reconnect
3PH setups can be (are) a real PITA unless you're on level concrete....
probably best to disconnect 100% and start over, safer too....

Is it a lateral or tilt adjustment problem? It sounds like one arm is lower than the other. The right side has the adjustment for tilt. Get the tractor on a level surface with the implement removed. Lower the arms and measure from the ground to the same place on each arm. Adjust the right side to level the arms. Sometimes people measure from pin to pin if you don’t have a level surface. In this case, measure from the top pin on the side link to the pin where the side link connects to the lift arms. Do both sides and see if there is a difference. Or, on a level surface you can use a level across the lifetime arms and see how close to level they are.

understand, all level now after taking tiller off. Just seemed to me one should be able to adjust turnbuckle with equipment on, guess not

thanks for the post

You should be able to get the weight of the tiller sitting on the ground and then you should be able to adjust your side length without removing the tiller

It is easy to adjust without the weight

Turnbuckle operates as advertised with tiller off three point, will not turn with tiller (or weight) on. Had same issue when blade was attached, until I lifted weight by placing 2x4 under blade, which relieves weight of three point. Tried same on tiller, no soap

anyway wen are operational, am investigating top and tilt so that will fix the issue, and from the operators seat
