Actually, version 2.8 will also fit the BX80 series ( that is what I have) but it needs some AI2 bucket pivot pins that mimic the factory pins that the FEL stand uses to pivot on and the two stop bolts/nuts to push the stand into position for latching.
Factory pins in the background and AI2 pin installed with the extended smaller diameter end and snap ring groove for the FEL stand. Also the vertical threaded bolt seen is the stop bolt:
