pto not disengaging

hi there
the hydraulic pump went out of my kubota m135gx and we had a bunch of filings scattered in every orifice and solenoid ... and our latest problem is the pto wont shut off .. any ideas what the problem is ???

Did you clean the the electrohydraulic Valve for the PTO? Maybe it stucks open because of filings.

Is the PTO still engaged after you shut off the engine for some hours? (don't start, try to turn by hand)

yes there is a solenoid above the transmition under the cab... had it all apart and its clean and everything checked out on it it opened and closed like it should .. i also plugged off the line that goes to the solenoidand started the tractor and the pto still ran

i just checked the pto if it was still engaged and it feels like it is .. there is no give to it at all .....the tractor has been sitting inside all night

If it is a normally closed switch, stuck open, disconnecting it will not matter. You could use a meter to check if the solenoid is being energized.

the solenoid opens and closes when i turn the pto switch on .. there is 14 volts at the solenoid and i tested it with air too ..there seems to be nothing wrong there ...
