Inspired by 300zx I decided to make a simple mount for a hour meter.
I bought a 2" Round Hour Meter on Ebay for about 10 dollar and locally a suitable rubber lined pipe mount plus a u-bolt clamp fitting the steering column.
The hour meter is not something you look at when you drive!
I am planning to use the hour meter dash hole for a temperature gauge later.

Anders,

Does "Glod" (Swedish I assume) mean "glow" (English)?

Re: Hour meter + Temp

I have now put in the temperature gauge I talked about initially.
Bought it on Ebay and put it into the unused hole intended for a hour meter.
As the engine on my B6001 is replaced with a D950 it has a water pump in the cooling system. There is a small bypass hose at the thermostat- I soldered a 1/8" fitting to a copper T-pipe of about 12 mm outer diameter and replaced the bypass with this and two pieces of cooling hose. Screwed the temperature sensor into the 1/8" fitting and wired it.
It works OK! :D
