I would think you may have a photo of what it looked like before taking it back to the service dept , If it's faded or damaged in any way from the elements I would ask they to make good on it and if they don't it's time to call your lawyer they don't give those things away let them know you mean business.

I would like to think there are kubota reps lurking around this forum, looking for these very types of threads. Would be due dilligence on their part. Would be good to see one step in from time to time.
Too bad the dealer doesent step up when clearly they are in the wrong.

When i do finally find in my budget room to buy a new or relatively new machine, if service is good or bad everybody will know what dealership im dealing at. The two dealers in this area were both good to buy parts from. Cant say anything about service though.
I belong to Ford Truck Enthusiasts, and there is a Ford rep on the forum that is lightening-fast in responding to posts of this nature. That goes a LONG way in building confidence in a corporation, and how they handle issues. While I love my Kubota, this exact example, and hundreds others like it, are why I would be very hesitant to buy a new Kubota tractor. No tractor is better than the customer service, period. I'd take a lesser tractor from a company that has stellar service, than vice-versa.

Mv7fd, it's time you get tough. Go up the ladder fast. Do like a friend of mine does- when you call, ask for the mananger- then, when they get on the phone, ask to speak to the person that they answer to, right off the bat. Show them that you have the power of your wallet, and the internet, and that you want what you paid for, and reasonable service. Nothing less is good enough. Don't threaten, but you need to be firm, persistent, and firm some more. Don't give in, tell them you don't want it back, etc. Even if you are so jaded that you don't want the mower any more, you need it fixed so that you can sell it and recoup your money. They will hone in on weakness and ambivalence, so don't give them the power. You can be a nice guy and demand what is rightfully yours, at the same time.

As Hodge suggested, if you want results you have to be assertive. Not aggressive. Not passive. The attitude needs to be, "You have rights and I have rights, we don't need to stomp on each other. Now, lets get this problem solved."

My first sentence would be, "If I were looking for owner of the business, who would I be asking for?". Or look up the company on the internet and know the answer before you go there.

You need facts. Hopefully, you have logged all your phone calls, date, time and who you talked to, and promises received.

In-action on your part tells them you're OK with what's going on!!

I feel for your pain.

togfish, what type of problem are you having with the tractor?
The issue is that the right fender is rubbing hard on the ROPS, where there is about a 3/4" gap in the same location on the left side. Something is twisted / bent, maybe from manufacturing defect, or maybe from shipping damage. I'll keep everyone posted.
