I have a B7100HST 4wd and am having problems with the HST foot pedal. It is very loose with away too much play. This just started late last fall, so I put her away for the cold months. The tractor still does fwd and reverse but does not go back to neutral position when I take my foot off the pedal, and sometime when starting up, when I release the clutch pedal I do not know if she will go in fwd or reverse...
I have printed out the WSM and checked all through several times, but have not found a solution. My grandson tells me it is the clutch, the 4 clutch parts in the US are $235. or so, but in Canada they are $465. When I was young the clutch went on my old Ford car and she would not move any more. The B7100 still drives and moves back and forth so I do not know if it is the clutch. I am an 83 yr old garlic farmer and I hate to break this machine and find it is some other problem altogether. Can anyone come up with a solution?
Many thanks, Dick W
